Feed your chickens naturally with solar power and reduce the need for feed. If you are worried about feed shortages, bring the supply-chain to your backyard. This system will attract and trap insects like moths, beetles, and other types of edible insects (this is not a fly trap).
The Chick-Lid snaps on to most standard 5 gallon buckets, made from a durable, clear rubberized acrylic (similar to the material used on sky lights and billboards), will not crack or warp in hot or cold temperatures, will not discolor. Instructions are included.
*Note, user will need to provide the following items to setup:
- 1 small solar light (the light featured in the photograph is from Harbor Freight)
- 1 can of black/dark spray paint
- 5 gallon bucket
- 2-3″ clean water
- 1 drop of non-toxic dish soap
